End of the contract system in eFootball Dream Team mode

On July 11, Konami announced the end of the contract system in Dream Team mode with the rollout of eFootball 4.0.0 scheduled for mid-September, without going into detail.

Konami has posted a notice in-game and on the eFootball website revealing some details of the upcoming release, including compensation planned for players who still have contract extension elements (10 and 60 days) during the next major update.

“Epic” and “Featured” Lucky Deals “

Every contract extension (60 days) you have will be converted into 1 Lucky Deal. This Lucky Deal will allow you to recruit a random player from a pack containing 100 previously released Epic and Featured players,” the publisher explains.

“Each set of 6 contract extensions (10 days) you have will be converted into 1 lucky deal as described above.

*If you have fewer contract extensions (10 days) than the required amount, they will still be converted into 1 happy agreement.”

In addition, to avoid abuse, contract extension items have been completely removed from the eFootball Points Store.

Confusing Communication
As players reported to us Thursday morning, today’s notification appears to state that any Contract Extension items you own are subject to the trade-in compensation measures, while the notification from July 11th stated that 10-day Contract Extension items obtained through card releases would be unaffected and would be exchanged for “other goods.” Let’s hope for clarification from Konami on this matter.
