On Friday, November 25, on the occasion of the week of games in Milan, Konami introduced a new official eFootball competition called “eFootball Italian Cup“.
Seven Italian eFootball partner clubs will take part: Atalanta, Inter, Lazio, Roma, Milan, Monza and Napoli. With an innovative concept, fans, professional e-sportsmen and players from young (real football) club teams will take part in the tournament.
The tournament will run from December 2022 to April 2023. The grand final of this amateur tournament will take place during ComicCon in Naples on the weekend of April 22 and 23. It will be held offline and broadcast live.
Each club organizes a tournament between the residents of their training center to determine a young player who will represent him, then a tournament between professional esportsmen. Finally, fans will compete during an online event (available exclusively in Italy) to bring together the official trio of each club that will play in the final tournament.
