This Monday, November 14th, Konami made public in a notice posted on the eFootball official website the content that version 2.2.0 of the game will bring. It should normally be available on Thursday, November 17th after three days of maintenance.
Countries available offline
Forty national teams will be available in test match mode (offline): Norway, Sweden, Scotland, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, England, Wales, Belgium, Ukraine, Czech Republic, France, Austria, Switzerland, Croatia, Serbia, North Macedonia, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Portugal, Colombia, Peru, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Costa Rica, Japan, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, Morocco, Egypt, Ivory Coast, Ghana and Cameroon. It will also be possible to play in an international tournament against AI with 46 teams to choose from. Six additional commands are not listed.
2v2 Offline
Xbox and PlayStation players will now be able to play 2v2 matches in a trial match (offline).
Continuation of the global event
After the eSports component reserved for players of the Division 1 eFootball League, two other components of the International Cup open to all will begin. You will be able to participate in special weekend events and a global scoring competition representing your country (shirt choice) to earn maximum rewards for your compatriots.
During the week, tasks dedicated to the national team will also be offered. For some challenges, you will have to make a team with imposed nationalities or limited team strength.
Cards and packs
Every Monday new drawings of the players of the “National Selection” will be added. The Players of the Week (POTW) added every Thursday will also feature national teams.
New special cards will appear: “Big Time”, reflecting the match that marked the career of active or legendary players.
Commentators will make special remarks about these players as they take to the field, and celebrations will be available to commemorate these memorable matches.
National Team Premium Packs will be available for purchase and will contain 11 players, including the National Hero’s Big Time Edition.
Match Pass
Finally, eFootball will have a Match Pass with three formulas, one free and two paid, including a premium one that will offer premium rewards.
You will have to play matches online to get direct contracts, consumables, and trading cards. Paid versions can be purchased with eFootball coins.
