Konami terminates eFootball Serie A licensing agreement

In a notice posted this Wednesday, June 22, in the “licenses” section of the official eFootball website, Konami has officially announced the imminent end of its licensing agreement with Italy’s Serie A and Juventus Turin.

However, the editor clarifies that the representation of the club in eFootball 2022 will not be affected. This will also not affect players purchased by Dream Team users, who can continue to be used normally in the game.

In addition, the Japanese firm indicates that Napoli, Lazio, Roma and Atalanta will remain available exclusively on eFootball.

This notice does not mention AC Milan and AC Monza, new official eFootball partners from the 2022/2023 season. As of now, Konami has made no mention of the exclusivity of these two pawn formations.

Konami concludes by saying that “new license information will be available shortly.”
