PES 2021 Legacy Patch Summer Edition Season 2025/26 – creator “RezvFX” has released the full version of his patch for the new season of eFootball Pro Evolution Soccer 2021.
The Legacy Patch is a comprehensive update designed to refresh and expand the game’s functionality.
Football Life / PES 2021:
This project focuses on stability, realism, and long-term usability. The goal is to create a clean, modern football experience without unnecessary bloat, broken systems, or gimmicks. The Legacy Patch is released as a free community project. Redistribution is permitted, provided all necessary attribution is provided and no changes are made to the files.
VERSION INFORMATION
This is Legacy Patch version 1.0.
Future updates are planned, including fixes, improvements, and additional features.
READ FIRST
• This is an AIO release, NOT an update.
• A reinstall is REQUIRED, even if you were using a previous version.
• Always start a NEW Master League or Ballistic League.
• DO NOT change in-game theme settings (this may cause an infinite loading loop).
• Game settings are changed through the “Apply Latest Update” function.
• Some managers may still be missing faces. This is normal.
• Partial updates are possible in lower leagues.
WHAT THE LEGACY UPDATE BRINGS
• Updated databases and latest transfers (December 25, Thiago Silva to Porto)
• Revised player ratings and team data.
• Improved gameplay balance for a more realistic pace.
• Updated menus and UI visuals.
• Updated scoreboards, stadium data, and rivalry information.
• Expanded set of kits, boots, balls, and match presentation materials.
• Improved audio balance (crowd, soundtrack, anthems)
• Cleaned up unused or broken assets to improve stability.
KNOWN LIMITATIONS
• Visual glitches may occur in edit mode due to engine limitations.
• Some teams may have incomplete kits or be grouped.
• Players missing heads or glitching are internal game issues that cannot be fully resolved.
Installation:
1. Navigate to the FL26 / FL25 / PES 2021 game folder.
2. Back up important folders (Faces, Stadiums, other mods).
3. Delete the existing “SiderAddons” folder.
4. Unzip ALL parts of the Legacy Patch.
5. Copy the new “SiderAddons” folder to your game directory.
SIDER.INI SETUP (FL25 AND PES 2021 ONLY)
• Skip this step if you are using FL26.
• Open the “Sider Backup” folder.
• Select the folder that matches your base game:
– PES 2021
– Football Life 2026
• Copy the “sider.ini” file to the “SiderAddons” folder.
• Replace the file if prompted.
LAUNCHING THE GAME
• FL25 / FL26: Launch with the FL2025 Start or FL2026 Start command.
• PES 2021: First, run sider.exe, then run PES2021.exe.
FINAL NOTES
• Do not use old sider.ini files.
• Incorrect folder locations will prevent mods from loading.
• Failure to back up means you accept the risk.
