-352 possession shape with Marmos drifting wide
-KDB closed the right space of possession when Rico Lewis inverted
-Forced the ball wide, creating 1v1 duels for Doku and Savinho, making it difficult for them to create the ball centrally.
Liverpool
-424 possession shape with no strikers and 2 attacking midfielders!
-Szoboszlai and Jones were in the half channels, but Jones dropped a bit deeper and Szoboszlai played as a false 9
-Liverpool kept a compact 442 shape at the back, so they dominated the game with just 35% of the ball.
FC Barcelona
– 352 possession shape with Frenkie de Jong dropping very deep in the formation
– Yamal and Balde press towards the touchline, with Rafinha pushing inside
– Kounde joins the attack, although he plays like RCB in possession.
Atletico Madrid
– Atletico usually start with a 442 shape, which changes to a 3-4-3, with Giuliano Simeone pressing very high.
