This Wednesday, May 18th, in the middle of the day, FC Barcelona posted on its official website and social media a nearly six-minute video in English of the Catalan club’s players in the middle of a 3D scanning session.
Among others, we see Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Ousmane Dembele, Clément Lenglet, Dani Alves, Memphis Depay, Ansu Fati, Pedri, Ronald Araujo, Frenkie de Jong, Ferran Torres or even Adama Traore.
An interesting detail: the tattooed players took shirtless scans, and we see the photographer taking close-ups and from all sides of Memphis and Dani Alves. The voice-over shows that the tattoos are captured in great detail.
We also learn from this report that the scan booth consists of 110 cameras and that 3 scans are made per player. The data is sent directly to Konami headquarters in Tokyo. These new models will appear in a future eFootball update.
