In a notice posted in the game and on the official website, Konami announces the release of version 3.0 of eFootball and, in connection with this, the transition to eFootball 2024 “from mid-August to September.”
“eFootball 2024 will include data updates reflecting national league promotions/relegations and player transfers,” the publisher said.
Data transfer
When migrating to eFootball 2024, players will retain the following:
– Electronic Football Coins – Electronic Football Points – GP (max 999.999.999)
– Direct Contract Tokens – Lucky Chords – Contract renewal objects for 10 and 60 days
– Tutorials
– Engineering training programs
– Special jerseys (classic and original)
– Parameter settings.

Base teams (choice of club identity), players, managers, avatars and targets may change depending on the summer changes that will take place in real football (transfers, career breaks, promotion/relegation, addition or withdrawal of licenses).
Team play style level disappearing in Dream Team mode
“As of version 3.0, Team Playstyle Level will no longer be a gameplay element,” Konami announced. “As a result, players will no longer have Team Playstyle Mastery, and their abilities will no longer increase or decrease according to the Team Playstyle you choose. This will allow users to freely play matches using any style of team play.”
“Thus, players who have earned progression points for Team Playstyle Mastery will receive those points back during Update 3.0.
Konami adds that “details on team playstyle level and team playstyle mastery changes for managers will be made available in future update announcements.”
Disappearance of special portraits
“Currently, there is a feature that allows certain standard player cards (at the 5-star level) to receive a different card design after reaching their maximum level. However, this feature will no longer be available in eFootball 2024 (version 3.0),” announces the notice.
“This change will also affect the standard player cards you currently own. They will be restored to their default portrait when first purchased.”
License update
In the same period from mid-August to September, Konami will carry out a major update of the licenses present in the game through a “massive maintenance”.
“Most standard players recruited in eFootball 2023 will have their affiliation and photo updated. In addition, players who are no longer available in eFootball 2024 (version 3.0) will be replaced with in-game items of similar value,” concludes Konami.
