Officially - club Monza became a partner of eFootball, patch and mods

A month earlier, the Italian club Monza had already displayed the eFootball logo among their sponsors. Also, 3D scans of the faces of the club’s players have leaked to the network.

However, this partnership was never officially mentioned by either the club or Konami. Now it’s done!

In a statement released Monday, June 13 on its official website, the Lombard Club announced that Konami is becoming its “video game partner” through a multi-year contract and “active collaboration since the 2022/2023 season.”

“The agreement provides for the development of numerous marketing and esports initiatives, as well as the inclusion of AC Monza legends in the game,” the publication clarifies. Also, “Konami performed a 3D scan of the entire team”

“…And this club will be part of a new esports competition dedicated to Italian clubs starting next season,” the statement says!

“Through this new collaboration with AC Monza, we firmly believe that we will be able to reach an even wider audience in Italy and beyond, looking forward to establishing a long and fruitful partnership,” commented Naoki Morita, President of Konami Digital Entertainment BV.

“I am honored to join other great Italian and international teams sponsored by Konami. This partnership is helping to grow the AC Monza brand worldwide and we are convinced that it will bring us great mutual satisfaction,” said AC Monza President Adriano Galliani.
