The main new features of efootball 2024
eFootball 2024 is available on Steam, Playstation, Xbox and mobiles since Thursday September 7th. Here are the main new features brought by the 3.0.0 update of the game…
New look
The art direction of the home screens and menus has been revised, with bright colors on a dark blue background (see photo above).
Improved gameplay
The gameplay has had a few tweaks which, in the opinion of many fans (which I personally agree with), make it smoother and slightly faster. Among the most noticeable developments, there is a more manual defense, more zealous refereeing and a tendency for players to direct their ball controls towards the opposing goal by default.
Disappearance of the individual team style of play
Dream Team players are no longer associated with the team play style. Only the manager now has to match the playstyle of your choice. Points used to develop your players’ team playstyle are returned to you and can be redistributed.

Boosted Epic Cards
A new type of epic card appears: these are equipped with boosters that improve the player’s abilities in a game sector.
For example, among the first cards of its kind available, Alessandro Nesta benefits from a “Defense +2” booster. Thus, he gets two additional points on his Defensive Awareness, Tackles, Acceleration and Jumps abilities. These boosters allow certain cards to achieve maximum overall ratings above 100.
Authentic Matches
New weather options are available in the Real Match mode. Now you can in snow or rain. These conditions have visible effects on players and their outfits. The selection of teams for the test matches is limited to the partner clubs. However, all authentic teams are selectable in friend matches.
Licenses
The Belgian championship is no longer officially licensed, but still present with generic club names, logos and outfits.
The official licenses of several Brazilian partner clubs are temporarily suspended and should return in a future update.
The national stadium of the Netherlands and AJAX Amsterdam, the Joan Cruijff Arena, is back in the game.
New options
In your Dream Team game plan, by selecting the “player details” menu, you can now view the history of the card’s statistics since you own it (matches played, goals, assists).
You can now choose a different base team (logo and outfits) for each of your game plans, via the “team” menu.
Players on loan
For certain challenges in Dream Team mode, you can now benefit from a limited number of loan players that you do not yet have in your squad. Example, for national team challenges, you will have access to the entire country pool in standard version.
Launch campaign
Until October 5, a special launch campaign will allow you to win up to 220 eFootball coins, over a million GP, 320,000 training experience points, four lucky deals for epic pack draws, six lucky deals for boosted players from guaranteed partner clubs and the new season’s collector’s jersey.
A 50% discount is offered to everyone on match passes. Thus, the “value” increases to 250 coins and the premium to 500 compared to 500 and 1,000 coins usually.
