All new features in eFootball 3.2 update

The eFootball 3.2.0 update was rolled out this Thursday, December 7th, during weekly maintenance. As announced, this new version contains many new features. This is undoubtedly the most important evolution of the game since its launch.

New eFootball 3.2 menus

The eFootball menu has undergone minor changes. There is now only one menu to start a match, whether in Authentic or Dream Team mode, against AI or online, solo or co-op. Modes are now indicated by small colored rectangles on the launch buttons.

My League eFootball Mode

My League“, long-awaited by offline players, has become the main new feature of the new version of eFootball. This is not a career or a Dream Team event, it is a mixture of both worlds. It consists of full championship seasons of your choice, where you play against real AI-controlled teams with your own players and coaches in Dream Team mode.

The points system allows you to earn rewards to improve your team by loaning players from your chosen club and some special cards, or offering your team a temporary boost to fitness or ability. Before each match, you can choose the difficulty level. The higher it is, the more My League points you will earn. You have the opportunity to earn extra points by completing tasks in each match. Some matches will be more difficult than others, and the little red light on the calendar will tell you about them. You can view the championship standings at any time. Numerous new activities (chat scene in the locker rooms, entering the field in official clothing of licensed leagues, presenting trophies, etc.) increase immersion.

Division redesign
Significant changes have been made to the Electronic Football League, which is also simply called “divisions”. From now on, there can no longer be more than two divisions between two opponents, which will significantly reduce the risk of disappointment for newcomers.

A new promotion-relegation system, based on assessed scores rather than accumulated points, will apply to the top three divisions. And so players will now be classified in the third division, and not just in the first.

Daily mini-game
Once a day you will be able to take part in a small game of penalties on a circle similar to a game of goose. You’ll move forward even if you fail, but you’ll move toward rewards faster if you strike often. Special cards will be available, and it all starts with a powered-up epic version of young Neymar in Santos for the first available circle (you’ll have to go through about thirty squares to get it).

And a surprise from the chef: to complete this task, you will become the embodiment of the iconic, legendary, mythical, unique Castolo, which will bring back good memories to former PES and Masters League fans.

Partial cross-platform eFootball

For the first time with this update, it will be possible to play between PC and Xbox players. But be warned: this cross-platform functionality will only be available to PC players who install the game through the Microsoft Store. The latter will be able to compete with Xbox One and Series S/X players.

New eFootball Player Draw Animation
For the first time since the introduction of Dream Team mode in April 2022, the initial player draw animation has been updated. We can see its video trailer below, which Konami broadcast on social networks this Thursday morning.

Joint events
Now you can compete online in co-op with other players besides your friends! In addition to random game rooms where you will find opponents at any time, you can also participate in themed co-op events. Another new feature: you can now express yourself using emoticons during co-op matches.

Contracts payable in GP
As announced, it will now be possible to renew your players’ expired contracts using GP, a free in-game currency that you regularly receive as rewards. 10 and 60 day contract extension elements paid for with eFootball Points or earned through Match Passes are still available.

Limited celebrations
This was also already promised by Konami a few days ago: “during online matches, the number of times a user can perform an impossible goal celebration will be limited to once per match.”

Dream Team eFootball Training

Additionally, among the announcements made ahead of this update, Practice Mode can now be used with your players purchased from Dream Team. You’ll also still be able to train with all the real teams in the game.

eFootball Licenses

The new license comes as part of a long-term partnership, once considered in jeopardy, between the AFC, the Asian Confederation and Konami: the AFC Asian Cup, the Asian Nations Cup, is coming to eFootball. All countries that qualify for the tournament will have their own official kits. There will also be an eSports eSports event in January 2024, targeting players residing in countries eligible to participate in the AFC Asian Cup.

Upcoming eSports matches
In the promotional trailer for this update, Konami reveals the dates of two upcoming eSports eSports events and introduces a new competition, the eFootball Championship Club event, which will begin on December 11, 2023 and for which no other information has yet been filtered.

The second competition announced is the 2024 E-Football Open, a major global e-football tournament open to all players, with qualifications beginning on January 22, 2024.

Eric The King is Coming!
Another reveal from the launch trailer: Eric Cantona, the legendary French striker of Manchester United, will appear in epic form in eFootball!
