Hello guys! Yes, the time has finally come… MegaPatch 2.0 is here!
Firstly, this is a significant milestone for us.
Hours of testing, fixing, retrying, comparing mods, faces, gameplay versions and exports, checking players’ Instagrams, boots, everything!
It’s been quite a journey, but this is the final version for this 23/24 season + EURO 2024 and Copa América 2024 content.
Everything about the next season will be in FL25, which has already been confirmed without a release date.
I’d like to especially thank our entire MegaPatch team, which has grown out of nowhere since I started this project alone. We were joined by Football4Life for his support and masterfully crafted gameplay mod, then minhanh458 for his gorgeous and detailed boots and parts and Option File until we got FL24 v2, FicaBre for his amazing goal, jusseppe for his patience in collecting everything and testing for FL24 and our testers GreekRetroGamer and the latest addition from jibibi. We’ll see what the future brings, but we’ll certainly take a well-deserved rest after this.
Peculiarities:
This is a completely AIO (All-In-One) package of mods that have been tested, polished, repackaged and adapted for FL24. Not compatible with any other version of PES 2021.
This requires the base game PES 2021 Football Life 2024 + update 2.0 installed (PES 2021 SP Football Life 2024 v2). A clean installation is recommended.
This only includes what is explained below. Faces and stadiums are not combined or included in the AIO package and are explained later in this post.
If you have Faces V3 installed, you can save the three folders (Faces, Ref Faces, and Classic Faces) by copying them to another location, and then place them back after installing MegaPatch 2.0.
This patch includes all updates as of 05/30/2024 for teams + EURO and America’s Cup, and nothing related to Season 24/25 content.
Known bugs:
Full entry to the America’s Cup 2024 has not yet been implemented by any modder, so the entrance will display EURO 2020 banners and flags. This modder (PES GUATEMALA) is working on it: It will be included in the MegaPatch 2.1 update.
The Greek scoreboard could call the game off at halftime. We are testing to fix this as soon as possible.
Of course, we are not perfect machines, so there will be some specific things that are wrong, especially in the lower leagues. We tried to re-link all the things for MLS and Greek League (badges, scoreboards, kits…) so there shouldn’t be any problem with that, but sometimes you might see things like different tunnel entrances in competitions like ICC , where there is no specific input assigned.
Cutscenes worked fine in my Master League, but in case anyone is experimenting with a stuck loading screen or something similar, you should disable them in Sider.ini (Immersion Mod 2.0 + cut-scenes.lua)
The Custom Exhibition Match module is in beta, so it may sometimes show different trophies in final match mode depending on what competition you’re playing. But in most cases it works.
MegaPatch 2.0 AIO features:
Squad and call-up updates for some teams, especially EURO and Copa America. Improved starting lineups and some players who shouldn’t be there (Gunduzi in France, Livaja in Croatia…)
Kits for almost every team in the game for the current season. 23/24 kits for the major leagues, some for 2024 for Brasileirao Serie A and MLS. Not all, as they are not fully ready yet, but for the main teams (Palmeiras, Corinthians, Sao Paulo, Flamengo, Inter Miami, Los Angeles FC and LA Galaxy, New York FC…). I also love the Greek Super League and other teams like Al Ahly Cairo.
New menu theme with players like Messi, CR7, Bellingham and Haaland as superstars, with improved and changed font from the default FL24 font.
A new soundtrack with 85 songs released between 2023 and this year 2024 from many different artists that will play randomly in the game. Music from twenty one pilots, Pearl Jam, Vampire Weekend, Hozier, Billie Eilish, Paramore, IDLES, Kendrick Lamar, Justice, The Warning, Danny Brown and many others!
Football4Life Realistic Gameplay 4.3 mod included. The most refined experience on the field, derived from multiple tests to ensure a better, smarter and fairer processor on the most difficult levels, improve responsiveness and dribbling and make tactics work like you’ve never seen in this game.
Bootpack updated as of July 2024 with over 200+ manually assigned boots for players based on their latest performances. You will see the latest Nike Mercurial Superfly, Nike Tiempo, Adidas Copa and Predator, etc.
The logos have been updated to a higher quality and include minor updates to those that have been changed this season and improved upon from the standard ones included in the FL24 kit.
Ballpack V46 from Hawke, with over 1,100 balls to choose from. Yes, 1100 balls! From all eras of football, old Winning Eleven/PES balls, concept or limited edition…
The goal nets have been updated and corrected to suit the stadium, FicaBre. You’ll see new colors as well as better gate physics thanks to this!
Pre-Match and Half-Match intro videos are included for many competitions! You will see a very short video introducing the competition to give more immersion into it. Also longer intro videos when you play in cup mode, updated to 2024 for the corresponding tournaments.
Animated billboards for clubs and tournaments. You will see moving billboards with the same sponsors used in real life. More immersion and realism thanks to this.
Stadium entrances and tunnels have been updated for many competitions. You’ll see “flag boys” in the Champions League or EURO 2024 matches, or precise arches and ball stands for leagues.
Entrance anthems and songs for teams when entering the field.
Added SoundServer. Get more volume for crowd, announcer, music or pitch sounds, higher and more specific than the default volume controls.
The scoreboard has been updated and improved for many leagues and competitions. Improved pause menu screens, thanks!
Included chants from predator002. The same package as the previous MegaPatch, but already includes many chants from many teams in the game.
Choreography and typho package included. Fans will display certain tifos when their team plays against their arch-rival, as well as others to support their club.
Included and updated goal songs for many clubs.
Added field sound effects. You’ll hear better balls being hit, player contact, and six random whistle sounds for the referees.
CustomExhibitionMatch mod enabled. Play the final match (or regular match) for a specific competition in Exhibition Mode with properly functioning scoreboards, splash screens and anthems, playing as any team!
Cutscenes are back! Immersion Mod 2.0 has been patched for FL24 and you’ll see new camera angles for fouls, pitch entries or longer goal celebrations. They are subtle, but you will notice some of them.
Small additional details here and there: the ball boys have updated tracksuits, as well as the players on the bench and their bibs. Also the staff around the field such as camera operators, security guards, etc.
And there’s a hidden little extra thing in the game. It is associated with some important commands. Let’s see who finds it…
Size and download instructions:
We’ve compressed the AIO package this time since it doesn’t include any Faces or Stadiums. Remember MP1.1 was 140GB because of this and we didn’t want you to download that much again. So this MegaPatch 2.0 is 58 GB compressed, 88 GB after extracted.
The mod with the largest size is Animated Adboards, so if you don’t need them, you can delete the “Preds-Ads” folder inside the SiderAddons/livecpk folder and you’ll save up to 33GB by reducing the patch size to 55GB.
It is divided into three parts of 20 GB, and this time you can’t choose what to download via Torrent by checking boxes like MP1.1, but overall it’s the best option.
Installation Instructions:
1 – Delete the file “DT18_all.cpk” in the game Data folder. It must be removed for Gameplay Mod to work.
2 – Delete the SiderAddons folder. Yes, the entire folder.
3 – Extract the new SiderAddons folder from “MegaPatch 2.0 AIO”.part1 RAR, as well as the Data folder into the root folder of the game SP Football Life 2024. Overwrite everything that is indicated there for overwriting.
4 – Place the file EDIT000000000 in this RAR archive, replacing the one located in C:\Users\Your User\Documents\KONAMI\eFootball PES 2021 SEASON UPDATE\2024\save
5 – My way to start the game and make sure that Sider is running (which is necessary for everything to work!) is to first launch Sider.exe inside SiderAddons, and then the .exe you need (FL 2024.exe, NOT START) . Always as an administrator.
6 – Disable the in-game soundtrack in the game settings! Otherwise you will hear both soundtracks at the same time.
How to use Sider:
Sider is the main tool that makes everything work in this game. You can select balls, stadiums, kits, select a competition in CustomExhibitionMatch, or change the starting year in your Master League.
It’s easy to use since you open it by pressing Spacebar. You move between mods/modules by pressing the number ‘1’ and then you need to follow the instructions for each mod. They usually use keys like PageDown/PageUP or F3/F4/F5. Pressing Spacebar again will make it disappear again with your desired selections.
It allows you to choose between multiple kit versions, over 1,100 balls, stadiums, scoreboards, and more.
There are no stadiums added to MegaPatch 2.0 AIO yet, but we will be making a shortened Stadium Pack very soon.
The Faces V3 collection will be coming a little later.

We want to thank the entire modding community for all the efforts they are still putting into this now 5 year old game (remember, this is nothing other than PES 2021, which is essentially an improved version of PES 2020 developed in 2019). They have already reached a level of premium quality unseen in any other football game, providing a wealth of content on every aspect of the game that can be modded.
